This year, apparently, some deal was cut between Staples and Memorex to exclusively carry Memorex CD labels (at least, this is the case at our local Staples store - I assume it's the case everywhere as deals like this are usually cut at the corporate level). So, I buy labels from Staples and am confidently informed by the cashier that I can download the label maker software for free online (just like I can with Avery, which provides many excellent editing tools and the option to store customized labels either on your own computer or in their cloud). Well, as it turns out, Memorex does not provide the software for free download due to 'licensing restrictions'. This is your OWN software (or at least software you OEM'ed from another company), and you didn't THINK about this? Then, Memorex instructs users to find a free download site on the Web to download the software - and lo and behold - there isn't a SINGLE site where you can successfully download the Mac software from (or, if there is, it ain't easy to find!).
