I found an alternative way to solve this by completely removing the app from the Dock. This has the side effect of removing the top menu nav, so you need to be comfortable with keyboard shortcuts and the occasional nuisance of not being able to access a feature, but it solved my problem well! Specifically for Outlook for Mac 2011 with default locations: • Close Outlook • In Finder, go to /Applications/Microsoft Office 2011/Microsoft Outlook • Right click and choose Show Package Contents • Open Contents/Info.plist in a text editor • Scroll to the bottom of the file and add this to the bottom of the file above ' LSUIElement • The last four lines of your file should be: LSUIElement • Save the file • Open terminal and enter this command sudo codesign -f -s - /Applications/Microsoft Office 2011/Microsoft Outlook.app.
Single Board Computers, such as the Raspberry Pi, use SD and microSD cards to house various operating systems. Create sd card from mac image for raspberry pi 2 gpio.

I like keeping my emails in folders in a tree structure, e.g., Business v Personal, then within Business, client versus prospect, then by client, then by project. I would normally keep most of that tree structure collapsed, but would want to see if I got new mail in one of those collapsed folders. Is there a way to make that show up in the parent folder? We're testing out Outlook 2011 for our users, and we've noticed that the canned 'Conversation' view does not show unread emails consistently. Some new emails that come in after the application is launched shows unread status, but the majority of emails that exist in the inbox before the application is launched does not show unread count in the conversation view.
